OSTK Now More Profitable than AMZN
Granted, that’s not a monumental accomplishment given AMZN’s desire to chase the top-line at the expense of profitability.
But, don’t look now, Patrick Byrne and the crew at Overstock (OSTK – $16.62) are turning a profit. A bigger test comes in Q1 2013 as the company will now lap a stronger quarter than the just reported Q4 2012. But, unlike AMZN and NFLX, OSTK’s profitability is headed in the right direction.
